I am licensed as an Independent Mental Health Counselor, certified as a disordered gambling counselor and provisionally licensed as a drug and alcohol counselor. I graduated with a Master’s of Science in Community Counseling in 2012 from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. I have been practicing since 2012.
I enjoy working with adults in individual and couple settings. Through counseling, I seek to engage you in the process of positive change by developing the skills needed to deal with and heal from life’s difficult situations, gain insight into your experiences, and empower you to achieve your goals and maintain personal growth. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of a successful counseling experience and enjoy building these relationships with individuals, couples, and families so we can start working together toward change. I am currently accepting new clients.
My areas of interest are perinatal mood disorders, relationship issues, women’s issues, depression, anxiety, life transitions, OCD, stress, family conflict, self-esteem issues, and gambling disorders. However, I enjoy working with individuals struggling with any issue if I and the individual agree that I can be of assistance to them.
